Queensland’s Naturally Refreshing Sunshine Coast came alive as the elite of Australia’s Off Road Racing fraternity descended on the spectacular hinterland terrain to tackle a weekend of action packed off road events including Cross Triathlon, Trail Running and Mountain Biking.

TreX Sunshine Coast was the finale of a seven race national series and it was reigning Australian Champion Ben Allen (B&J Racing) 2:09:50 who won a hard fought battle in the elite men’s race. Allen lead from the start and didn’t look like relinquishing his lead.

“I’m happy to put in a solid performance in all three disciplines and come away with a win. It’s been a slow start to the season for me, but every race I do I’m getting faster and more and more confident. I’m excited to keep the ball rolling as I head to Europe in a few weeks.”
